Park West significantly expanded its relationship with the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League for the 2017-2018 season. As the Ducks close out a strong run, Park West has been proud to be the Official Landscape Partner for the team and their home venue, the Honda Center. This is the second year the company has been a sponsor for the team.
Last season, Park West initiated its relationship with the team for a multi-faceted presence that included arena concourse displays, exterior displays facing a major freeway and surface street, and branded shovels and brooms used by the Clean Sweep Power Players squad that cleans the ice during timeouts. Park West also participated in the organization’s annual Dux in Tux and Golf Classic charity events benefiting the Anaheim Ducks Foundation. The foundation aligns with Park West’s emphasis on supporting children and families in Southern California.
For the current season, the relationship maintained those activities and built upon them with several new dimensions. Additional aspects of the expanded involvement included dasher board advertising at ice level, sponsorship of the pre-game puck warning on all rink displays and the scoreboard, official warm-up puck sponsor, seating for company guests and VIPs in the penalty box during the warm-up period, and availability of the Ducks street team for an event during the year.
“The Ducks are one of Southern California’s preeminent sports franchises with a loyal fan base, strong attendance at games, and visibility around the country via television broadcasts throughout the season,” said Park West CEO Jim Tracy. “We are proud of our close and growing association with the organization and value the high visibility it gives us as well as the opportunity to support the good work of the Anaheim Ducks Foundation.”
