Sales Executive

Job Details

The Sales Executive is responsible for driving new sales and revenue for their assigned division, building relationships with prospective and current customers, resulting in a continued pipeline of new sales opportunities, and supporting customer retention.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for bid preparation, proposal delivery and customer follow-up.
• Lead sales presentations as needed for potential new accounts.
• Accountable for monthly and annual sales goals assigned to their division.
• Review and consolidate accurate sales and job data to enter information into the company’s sales database.
• Review and fully understand sales opportunities (contract, scope of work, special requirements). Coordinate job estimating with Branch Manager, Regional VP of Operations and/or VP of Technical Operations as needed, overseeing the bid estimating process in its entirety.  Ensure all proper information is provided to the customer per the scope requested by the needed deadline.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager and RVP of Operations on all bids, including but not limited to, approval of BSM prior to bid submission, on site job evaluation for estimating and final proposal preparation.
• Submit necessary job start up information to Contract Manager immediately after job is awarded.
• Assist Contract Manager to ensure contract is prepared, presented, and received back signed by client prior to start date.
• Meet with Branch Managers and RVP of Operations monthly, informing the team of relevant business development issues, available projects to bid and captured work.
• Develop strategies to increase market share with new and existing clients.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients through attending lunch meetings, CAI/CACM events and other industry related events as needed within approved budget.
• Facilitate all new job launch meetings with operations staff for jobs they have sold.
• Send out welcome email and company contact sheets to new accounts.
• Effectively manage regional sales budgets for marketing and business development purposes.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, business acumen and promote company goals and core values.
Job Skills and Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years’ sales experience, preferably in the green industry.
• Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations effectively in a public forum.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
• Must be able to work nights and attend industry events and client meetings as needed
• Possess a great attitude that will inspire and motivate others in a team environment
